What Can I say about Amy and Chris’s wedding day? My girl, Amy, walked around the entire wedding day WITH A BROKEN FOOT Y’ALL! She is my freakin’ hero, she didn’t let it put a damper on her wedding day!  I had such an amazing time celebrating with this beautiful family.  I asked Amy a few questions about her wedding day/experience, details below (yep, I’m asking you to scroll, but there are lots of pretty pictures! <3 ) :

Did you see each other before the ceremony?
“We did, although, we didn’t have as much time as I wanted we had a first look and it was perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing about our first look. It’s a very special moment for us!”

Tell me about the dress. Where did you find it? How did you choose it? How did you know it was “the one”?
“The dress is from David’s Bridal, we made the appointment at David’s just to get a better idea of what I wanted, “I was NOT getting my dress there” We had an appointment somewhere else later in the month but after trying on a few dresses and realizing I wanted something that better suited me as a tomboy, another sales associate (not the one helping me) brought a dress over. I loved it on the hanger but wasn’t too sure….I knew as soon as it was on that it was the one and when I stepped out of the dressing room the faces of my friends and family confirmed my feelings. And just to add even more sweetness to the deal, the dress was on sale too! (Who doesn’t love a good sale?!)”

How would you describe your overall wedding experience?
The BEST whirlwind I’ve ever experienced!

What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?
“The reception!  Dancing and visiting with everyone was my favorite part of the day.”

What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding?
“Start early and plan often. There are so many last minute details that will overload you if you don’t have everything else planned/handled.”

“Once we started taking photos and I saw Chris all the weight of being late and throwing everything off left me. It was completely perfect from that point on.”
