Farrar contacted me several months ago about a session.  She wanted to surprise her best friend and get photos taken of her and her daughters, along with Farrar and her adorable daughter.  I don’t normally take sessions like this, but really, you’d have to see their children.  They are way too cute to pass up!  This is just a small sneak peek and what I could get edited right now, so I’ll probably post many more later! :)

casting call

September 1, 2009

I posted a casting call a couple of months ago and received a great response from it! However, I am still looking for a couple of other models before I am done. I am looking for:

- 1 pregnant momma between 28-36 weeks
- 1 baby boy who is about to celebrate his first birthday
- infant/toddler twins (preferably girls!)
- a newborn under 14 days old

Participants will receive a session at a discounted price (65% off) as well as a 20(up to 40 photos) page leatherbound album with an order of $99 or more.

This offer is first come/first serve. I will update when I have filled the remaining slots.

Hi everyone!

These photos aren’t from a session at all, as a matter of fact I took these at a cookout we had with family and close friends.  Ashlee is an amazing painter and one of my most treasured friends.  I have a couple of photos of her and her boyfriend, my baby brother (who isn’t a baby anymore!!) and his girlfriend, my twin baby brothers and some other candid photos from my life recently.

OH, funny story of the day!  Earlier today my little sister (who is 2 and terrible!) decided she was going to remove her pullup herself, she then started to sling it at my brother as he was going to take it from her and give her a new pullup.  When the slinging started…something brown came out of the diaper and directly at my brother.  Can you imagine?  It was absolutely hilarious!  Poor Robert.

Here’s some photos from my day:

This is Nate, Ashlee’s significant other:

This is Kayla, Robert’s girlfriend:

Here’s my Grandmother feeding one of my twin brothers, Skylar, mashed potatoes and corn on the cobb.  He looks much younger than he is, I promise! :)

This is Renee (my step-mother) and Peyton, the other twin!

And last, but not least…This is a photo from a week or so ago.  I had a cake smash session and my baby sister wanted to try too!  So here she is playing in cake with my grandmother, who actually had more fun than my sister! haha.

It’s been so long since I’ve written a personal blog.  It will probably be just as long until the next one as well, so hopefully this will suffice for a while!

Peace

Addison is a part of my model search.  She is absolutely adorable, and she and her mommy were a pleasure to work with.  I enjoy my clients company so much, I  always manage to meet the most beautiful, laid back people!

Here’s a couple of my favorite images from the session:

We went outside and played a little, too:

Annsleah is an absolutely adorable 7 month old.  Her mom Nikki volunteered for my ‘chubby 5-7 month’ casting call and I’m so glad she did.

After a nap and several clothing changes, I ended up with way too many amazing photos to choose from!

Here’s a sneak peek:

I can not wait until her one year session! :)

Earlier today I had the pleasure to spend a couple of hours with Terell and his family.

Though it was only a short mini-session, I think I got some keepers!

I have a couple more, but I’ll have to add them later.  It’s late and I’m tired!

Today I had a VERY busy day! First I had a mini-session with Ashley, then I met with her family from East Tennessee for family photos!

Here’s a sneak peek:

And here’s some from Ashley’s mini-session:

Hey everyone!

Do you get family portraits taken regularly?   Every couple of months, I like to offer mini-sessions to the busy family.  Basically, I take less than an hour of your time, take some awesome posed and candid pictures and give you another treasured memory of you and your children.  This mini-session I’m organizing an Easter egg hunt for your children,  you can choose candy or real eggs, whichever you feel most comfortable with for them.

It’s much easier to capture toddlers and children of all ages when they’re comfortable and happy, and not fully aware that they’re being caught on camera! ;-)

I got to visit home again this weekend, it’s always so nice to see the beautiful Tennessee country side…and my family!

Here’s some of the pictures I got of my little brother:

I wanted to spend some time with Jay and Sarah before Dan and I move to Dallas, they were having a lot of fun!  Tennessee has such great weather.  I’m going to miss it a lot.
